  • Aprašymas: Manos, who is a kind-hearted folk singer much adored by the women, is secretly in love with orphan Annoula, a florist. She has been working at the same music place where Manos sings for many years in order to finish high school. When he decides to leave his lover Daisy and marry Annoula, her real father, who was in Canada for seventeen years, intervenes and claims that Annoula should be with him. He tries to bribe Mr. Spyros, who is her drunkard stepfather, but he refuses. Due to a misunderstanding, Annoula follows her real father to Thessaloniki. Mr Spyros almost dies from grief, and Manos suffers from a disease and loses his voice. However, everything improves when the young woman returns, and it is revealed that her father was suddenly showing an interest in her because of the money that Annoula’s mother had left in her will.
